Field Notes: Positioning

Positioning is not what you say about yourself. It is what comes to be assumed about you through repeated behaviour, placement, and restraint over time.

Strong positioning emerges when actions align so consistently that explanation becomes unnecessary. Weak positioning relies on narration, clarification, or constant reintroduction.

In the Aesthetic Intelligence Index, positioning is treated as an outcome of behaviour, not branding language. When positioning works, credibility feels settled rather than negotiated.
